BRIC is seeking a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our team serving eleven school districts in north central Minnesota.
This position provides both direct and indirect services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a range of educational settings. The successful candidate will work alongside special education teams, general education teachers, educational interpreters, and families to ensure students have full access to instruction and communication.
What You Will Do
● Deliver direct and indirect DHH services aligned with student IEPs
● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in evaluation and IEP development
● Provide staff training and consultation on hearing loss, communication strategies, and classroom supports
● Support implementation of assistive listening devices and related technology
● Travel between member districts with a flexible service delivery model, including tele-practice when appropriate

Qualifications
● Current Minnesota licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
● Knowledge of American Sign Language preferred
● Strong organizational and communication skills
● Ability to travel between districts
