This position is for Long Term Sub to fulfill all the duties of a regular classroom instructor, which include but not limited to: literacy, math, science, social studies, and art instruction. Teachers are also expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate in PLCs and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
Special Education Teacher to provide behavior management, social skills instruction, and academic instruction for students with special needs kindergarten thru 4th grade

AVID Classroom Tutor: High School and Middle School
Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to work with students in small groups to reinforce skills in reading and math.
Work with students in small groups on the process of writing in all subject areas, study skills and other aspects of college preparation.
Set an example of personal excellence and high expectations for AVID students to follow.
Communicate frequently and honestly with the AVID coordinator/teacher(s).
Attend tutor training.
Provide leadership and coordination for the development, implementation, monitoring, and measurement of the District’s educational equity plan, including the district integration plan, and efforts to create a culturally responsive, racially and ethnically inclusive learning environment to ensure that all students are successful. The position assists each school and the district in monitoring areas of disproportionality and seeks to develop within FPS a culture where diversity and inclusion are recognized and valued, and where students and staff are supported in their development of a climate that addresses issues and opportunities of equity that impact student learning and success.
