POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Community Education, the Supervisor of The Adult Basic Education Program supervises staff in support of the academic needs of our students; interprets, enforces and assures compliance with Federal, state, and local laws, and local and state regulations and policies.

Social Studies – Upper School Teacher

Minnehaha Academy is a PreK – 12th grade Christian school and a ministry of the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.  Our mission is to provide a high-quality education integrating the Christian faith and learning.

The Upper School has a Full-Time (100%) position open for a Social Studies teacher beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, with potential areas of responsibility including US History, AP US History, and/or Econ/Gov.  Additionally, as part of school-wide programming, advise a small group of girls or boys and supervise/participate in a week-long Cultural Field Experience.  Note: We have one more year in our current facility before opening a new school building in the fall of 2019.
