The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking an experienced and innovative individual to provide excellent leadership as the Director of Business Services. Located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, minutes from downtown St. Cloud and approximately an hour northwest of the Twin Cities, Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School is a focal point for the Sauk Rapids and Rice communities and provides quality programs to approximately 4,500 students by approximately 650 staff members with a budget of $55 million.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for budget development, control and long-range financial planning
- Projects district revenue and submits the district tax levy to the Board of Education for approval as well as the county and Minnesota Department of Education
- Develops and administers a program for purchasing contract services, supplies, and equipment
- Assists in the development of a facility expansion and maintenance program
- Supervises facility planning, project development, and construction projects
- Supervises, through the Director of Buildings and Grounds, the district custodial staff and maintenance program
Administers, through the Director of Food Service, the food service program - Establishes and supervises a program of accounting and reporting for the financial affairs of the District
Manages the real estate and insurance programs including;- Health
- Dental
- Long-term Disability
- Group Life
- Worker’s Compensation
- Participates on the District Insurance Committee
- Supervises the development of required financial reports as required for all funds
- Recommend policies, regulations, and administrative procedures
- Completes the District’s annual audit
- Consults with the Superintendent and other personnel on questions relating to the District’s business affairs
- Prepares and submits reports and other documents as required to the Board of Education
- Supervises the District Business Office staff including payroll/benefits, accounting, purchasing/accounts receivable
- Supervises the District transportation services
- Completes District enrollment projections
- Serves as a District’s financial representative for negotiations
- Supervise MARSS Student Information System
- Works with the Superintendent on legislative matters for the district
- Serves on professional organizations and committees as the District’s representative
- Serves on District administrative committees and attends School Board meetings as a resource to the Board of Education
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school district

Assistant Principal, Secondary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Principal collaborates with the Principal to support and manage the educational programs, operations, personnel, and financial resources within the building to ensure that district policies are followed, district and state standards are achieved, and that the educational needs of all students are met. This includes but is not limited to the essential duties.
Assistant Director of Operations and Transportation
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist with the leadership and supervision of all construction and remodeling projects in the district.
2. Assist with supervision of building custodial staff on issues pertaining to cleaning and maintaining of all district buildings.
3. Consult with building principals and program directors about equipment purchase and repairs to include the building envelope, HVAC equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
4. Provides for and directs necessary training programs for custodial staff.
5. Assist with developing and maintaining vendor contacts for supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
6. Assist with developing an annual ten-year plan and seek school board approval.
7. Assist with ensuring that approved capital facilities plans are completed within budget.
8. Assist with establishing the physical design for the security system for each building
9. Assist with ensuring the security system is maintained and card inventory is controlled.
10. Assist in developing and maintaining a ten-year plan for Long Term Facility Management (LTFM) needs for the district.
11. Assist with State reporting.
12. Complete Fire Marshal, OSHA and Department of Health compliance orders.
13. Assist in the development and administration of the transportation program to meet all the requirements of the district.
