This is a lead teacher position and will be responsible for supporting and tracking all due process paperwork, running child study, STAR assessment administration, MCA administration, attending IEP meetings as needed, supporting classroom teachers with restrictive procedures and student supervision as needed. Lead teacher will also be a member of the Crisis and Safety Teams for the building, as well as a member of the Staff Development Committee. Other duties as assigned.
Central
Physical Education Teacher
Middle school (grades 5-8) physical education teacher. Teachers are expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate on PLCs and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
2nd Grade Teacher
Fulfill all duties of a regular classroom instructor, which include but not limited to: literacy, math, science, social studies, and art instruction. Teachers are also expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate in PLCs and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
8th Grade Science Teacher
Provide academic instruction in an 8th grade science classroom. Teachers are expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate on PLC’s and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
Special Education Teacher
This teaching assignment will include case management, support for students. It may include teaching pull out academic resource classes. A current Minnesota teaching license is the area of special education EBD, SLD and or ASD is preferred.
Special Education Teacher
This teaching assignment will provide supervision for the self contained Level 3 EBD program. A current Minnesota teaching license is the area of special education EBD.
