Technology Integration Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: Work closely with administrators, teachers, the Innovation Coordinator, and the Technology Coordinator to effectively integrate digital tools into classroom instruction and implement the latest digital instructional tools and strategizes to maximize innovative student learning in all content areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 60% Digital Design and Support *Design, implement, communicate on, support, and evaluate projects with teachers, administration, and district staff to provide solutions that align with district goals *Provide support and professional development with new instructional software/hardware and district technology initiatives *Assist as-needed with the troubleshooting of technology issues related to instruction *Research data driven innovative technology resources to enhance the teaching and learning process; read, disseminate, and model current best practices for staff *Coach faculty and staff on the innovative use of digital tools to enhance student engagement at high levels and assist with solutions for effective and efficient instructional delivery 25% Professional Development *Attend in-service trainings as required *Facilitate professional development for technology-infused curricula *Provide job-embedded, in-person, blended and online professional development throughout the year to support teachers in the integration of digital tools in the classroom *Attend and present at local and national technology conferences and events 15% Building and Committee Work *Assist teachers in planning for use and infusion of technology in the instructional program *Provide support with instructional software/hardware and district technology initiatives *Support and participate in PLC’s with a focus on the development of goals, differentiated lessons, and assessment measures while integrating technology *Co-facilitate respective building Technology Instructional Leadership Team and work collaboratively with members. Serve on the District Technology Advisory Committee and other committees or groups as appropriate

6th Grade Teacher

Foley Public Schools is taking applications for a sixth grade teaching position beginning with the 2018-2019 school year. Successful candidates will: Must have a valid MN teaching license. Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts, Math, Science and early literacy. Ideal candidate must be able to produce, analyze and respond to relevant data about student learning. Ideal candidates should also have experience with multiple instructional practices and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners. Ideal candidate should have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Title 1 Academic Interventionist Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide intervention instruction to students who are not meeting grade level expectations. Title 1 Teacher

General definition of work: Performs difficult professional work providing instruction ensuring all students within the academic discipline area learn and achieve academic excellence, achieve self mastery and social competency and develop their own missions (purpose) and vision for a positive future and an environment favorable to learning, teaching a broad range of subjects or specialized subject matter(s), teaching special needs students, motivating students to achieve maximum potential, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building Principal. Specific Tasks: The successful candidate will provide remedial instruction to grades 3, 4 and 5 in reading and math. They will progress monitor students weekly, they will teach in small groups, they will supervise an instructional assistant, and in addition, a reading and math corp members. They will enter data, they will analyze data, they will determine eligibility, and they will do their tasks as assigned.
