This includes staff recruitment, monitoring compliance of due process procedures, orientation and staff development, curriculum and program design and implementation, management functions related to assigned districts, activities and staff. Staff includes teachers and assistants and other related and support service personnel as assigned.

First Robotics Head Coach
Big Lake Schools is seeking a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) head coach. This person will serve as a lead coordinator and mentor for the FRC team. In this role, the coach will be supported by a team of volunteer mentors. The coach is in charge of scheduling events and build sessions, coordinating with the school and families to accommodate and avoid conflicts. The coach is also the finance coordinator, ensuring that the team works within its budget and takes necessary steps to find minimum funding. Most importantly, the coach is focused on the development of the participating students through ongoing mentoring, training’s, and providing opportunities for leadership. The primary goal of the program is to prepare all students for future STEM careers through enriching, empowering experiences. An excellent candidate will have strong leadership skills, work well with a team of volunteers, be an effective teacher and mentor to students, and be an active communicator connecting our many stakeholders. Technical skills are not necessary, but a willingness to learn the core components and approaches to design is essential.
