High School Social Worker
School Social Workers assist mainstream teachers and administrators in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities with all students. School Social Workers participate in screenings, evaluations, and/or interventions with students suspected of having emotional, social, behavioral, and/or learning difficulties. In addition to contact with these persons, assistance may also involve consultation with parents, siblings, teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, school administrators, and appropriate non-school personnel to inform, as well as advise on issues of student functioning and needs. Services may also include school intervention strategies, behavioral management, in-service activities, and program evaluation. All such services are intended to help school staff recognize and provide for the individual differences and needs of all children.
Data Support Specialist

North Branch Area Public Schools is looking for a Data Support Specialist. This is a 12 month position. Coordinate and manage student data and assessments for all schools and departments. Provide staff with useful data to understand the students they serve. Provide training and support for teachers and staff in the use of assessment data and data systems to improve instruction and student learning. Evaluate, analyze and interpret student data to increase student learning and inform decision making.
Guidance Counselor – Middle School
Under the general direction of theprincipal, the Counselor is responsible for providing individual and group counseling to students in need of personal, academic or career counseling. Duties also include providing coordination and implementation assistance in various school programs/functions such as the administration of standardized testing; implementing and coordinating peer tutor program; and coordinating registration activities.
Head Girls Basketball
Responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of the girls’ basketball program including varsity, junior varsity, c-squad, 7th and 8th grade programs.
Special Education Teacher
Under the direction of district administrators, the Special Education Teacher is responsible for assisting the District in assessing and identifying students with special needs such as learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, health impairments, developmental cognitive delays or other similar needs according to State of MN eligibility criteria. The Special Education Teacher plans for, develops and implements individualized education programs and instruction in academic areas in collaboration with other educational professionals and administrators in designing, modifying and delivering instruction.
