ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN

This position is structured to ensure the Administrative Intern is able to complete his/her required K-12 internship hours, receive practical experience in school administration duties, and demonstrate competence in all of the Minnesota K-12 Principal Competencies.
Essential Duties
Examples of essential duties that may be performed include the following:
- Assist leadership with developing and establishing the curriculum
- Resolve student issues/problems, including student management
- Assist with the interviewing and selection of school staff
- Evaluate non-licensed school staff
- Serve as a liaison for the school; serve on committees, task forces, and/or community groups
- Develop and prepare school reports for submission
- Assist leadership with developing goals and strategic planning
- Develop and present professional development for individuals, as well as groups of educators
Qualifications
- Completed or pursuing coursework leading to administrative licensure
- Four-year degree in a field related to education
- Three years of successful teaching or other licensed school experience

Salary
$60,000 – $70,000, dependent on experience
