Background Information:  MAWSECO is an agency of seven member school districts (Annandale, Dassel-Cokato, Delano, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Litchfield, Maple Lake and Rockford) that have joined together to provide services in the area of special education. The mission of the Cooperative is to provide quality special education leadership, services and support to its seven member school districts’ staff, students and families as well as other agencies/districts that purchase its services.  The MAWSECO central office is located in Howard Lake, MN which is west of the metro and south of St. Cloud.

Bus Driver

We are currently seeking a regular route bus driver. Valid MN or WI driver’s license with clean driving record is necessary. CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement is preferred for bus routes, but will train the ideal candidates. Must have, or obtain, DOT physical and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Long Term Substitute School Psychologist

Position: Meeker & Wright Special Education Cooperative is seeking a long term substitute school psychologist beginning approximately January 5, 2022 through March 15, 2022. This is roughly a 10-week assignment.

Background Information: This position serves Rockford school district as well as the programs at MAWSECO. Under the direction of the Executive Director and guidance of Special Education Coordinator(s), the School Psychologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments and evaluations to determine special education eligibility. The School Psychologist collaborates with all key individuals to determine eligibility and level of service need.

Title One Teacher

This is a .75 to 1.0 FTE position at CE Jacobson Elementary, depending on interest, availability, and qualifications. This position is not renewable for the following year and has an end date of June 7, 2022. Candidates must have the ability to work with small groups of students to provide interventions in reading and math, leadership qualities to supervise an instructional assistant, experience in progress monitoring students weekly, knowledge to input data and create spreadsheets, etc. with the data, willingness to work with classroom teachers to integrate learning, ability to work with a team of Title I assistants, communication to provide input to the Problem Solving Team, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will provide interventions in the primary grades but may extend to grades K-6 in reading and math. This position is open until filled and applicants will be screened and interviewed as applications are received. Start date would be as soon as possible. English Teacher – Short-Term

Rush City High School has a full-time short term substitute English Teacher position for grades 9th, 11th & 12th beginning immediately until November 16, 2021.  Rate of pay is $125 a day. Required qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree OR Teacher License through the State of Minnesota OR Short Term Substitute License through the State of Minnesota. Curriculum will be pre-arranged for this position. This position is open until filled.
