Educational speech-language pathologists provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. These services are designed to help children meet their educational goals.

School Psychologist
Performs professional work preforming diagnostic evaluation of students, assessing and interpreting intellectual, social and/or emotional development, conducting consultations, preparing and maintaining files and records, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Special Services Director.
Special Education Teacher – Evaluator
The Special Education Teacher – Evaluator provides educational evaluation and/or classroom observations for comprehensive educational evaluations program for students who may have an educational disability.
Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
The Teacher develops material and lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction and evaluates and assess student performance. The incumbent meets with parents, interprets student progress, and informs parents/guardians about student strengths, weaknesses, and progress.
Elementary Counselor
C.E. Jacobson Elementary (PK-6) is looking for a full-time counselor. The licensed school counselor is responsible for providing a school counseling program that is preventative in design, developmental in implementation, and will work with elementary aged students to serve the academic, social, and emotional needs of students. Further responsibilities include: individual, small, and scheduled whole group sessions with students, block scheduling, tracking absences and contacting parents, preparing students for transition to high school; serve as a consultant/partner with educators, families, and community members; intervening during crisis situations; as well as other duties as assigned. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to demonstrate the school-wide PBIS expectations with students so the learned skills transfer back into the general classroom. Hours will be school days, aligned with the Teachers Master Contract. Applications accepted until the position is filled.
5th Grade Teacher – Literacy Focus
C.E. Jacobson Elementary (PK-6) is looking for a full-time 5th Grade Teacher with a focus in literacy to begin in the 2021-2022 school year. Our fifth and sixth grade students function in a middle-school-style model and this teacher will spend 85% of their time teaching literacy and literacy-related skills. The ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and the community will be imperative. Hours will be school days, aligned with the Teachers Master Contract.
