6th Grade Teacher – Math
C.E. Jacobson Elementary (PK-6) is looking for a full-time 6th Grade Teacher with a focus in math to begin in the 2020-2021 school year. Our fifth and sixth grade students function in a middle-school model and this teacher will spend 90% of their time teaching math. The St. Croix River Education District (SCRED) invites qualified School Nurse candidates to apply for an open position within North Branch Area Public Schools serving 6th through 12th grade, including the Norse Area Learning Center (ALC) and Life Work Center (LWC) transition program, for the 2020-21 school year. North Branch is located just north of the Twin Cities metro area. This is a full-time position and includes Extended School Year (ESY) services.
This position is intended to enhance the student’s access to instruction and educational opportunities by minimizing or removing health-related barriers to learning while promoting a safe environment for all students and staff.
Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures, and Minnesota State law regarding nurse practice. School nurses have a variety of responsibilities including providing first aid, hearing and vision screening, immunization tracking, monitoring for communicable diseases, managing students with chronic health conditions and special education needs, providing work direction to health clerks, providing training and delegating tasks to educational assistants, and participating in special education assessments as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
