Special Education Teacher
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for creating a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with unique needs, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Special Education Teachers provide instruction to assigned students implementing IEPs, and prepare academic materials for students following approved curricula. Special education case management includes preparation of IEPs, reports, assessment, and leading IEP team meetings. Position will begin fall of 2020. 6th Grade Teacher – Math
C.E. Jacobson Elementary (PK-6) is looking for a full-time 6th Grade Teacher with a focus in math to begin in the 2020-2021 school year. Our fifth and sixth grade students function in a middle-school model and this teacher will spend 90% of their time teaching math. The ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and the community will be imperative. Hours will be school days, aligned with the Teachers Master Contract.
