The St. Croix River Education District (SCRED) invites school psychologists and school psychologist interns to apply for a position working within the Chisago Lakes School District, serving Early Childhood through first grade at the Primary School, for the 2019-20 school year. A Minnesota Department of Education license in School Psychology is required. Qualified candidates are passionate and skilled in using innovative best practices and desire a broad, progressive role within the school system (e.g., Multi-Tier System of Supports, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, data-based decision making, functional behavior assessment/behavior support plans, direct service with students).
This is a 1.0 FTE position to begin the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to guide teacher training in the implementation of MN Standards for the purpose of monitoring Professional Learning, while working closely with other peer coaches and team leaders. Work alongside administration to plan, implement, and assess reform efforts for the purpose of creating a learning environment that supports academic achievement for all students.

The school districts located in Pine County, MN collaboratively operate an alternative to out of school suspension program called New Direction. We are seeking a person to coordinate this program beginning in the fall of 2019. This is an established program that was created in the fall of 2014. The departing coordinator will be available to assist in the transition and provide training.
