Paraprofessional Position

Job Description

Twin Cities Academy High School is seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) program paraprofessional for the 2017-2018 school year. The paraprofessional will be working as a classroom paraprofessional, working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Learning Disabilities, or Other Health Disabilities. This position will be a salaried position with benefits.

Qualifications

Required: Minimum of high school degree required; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

 

Preferred: At least 2 years of post-secondary education completed; background in working with Emotional Behavior Disorders,  related experience or training in providing assistance to students; substitute license

Twin Cities Academy is an urban, college preparatory, public charter school located in East Saint Paul, serving students in grades 6-8 and 9-12. The school’s’ mission emphasizes academic rigor, leadership development, character building, and community engagement. Bilingual Grade 1 Immersion Teacher
