Job Responsibilities:

American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher (2 positions)
Eden Prairie Schools is seeking two (2) American Sign Language (ASL) teachers for the 2018-19 school year. The ASL teacher is the educational leader in the classroom and will ensure that the Public Schools Program and curricula are implemented in a way that maximizes student learning experiences. The ASL teacher is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of all students within his/her teaching assignment, is committed to the Eden Prairie School Board policies regarding equity, human rights and cross cultural understanding and reports directly to the principal of the school.
Coordinator of Early Childhood Family Education, Minnetonka Preschool, and Early Childhood Screening, 1.0 FTE
Provide leadership in the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Minnetonka Community Education Programs: Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Minnetonka School Readiness, Minnetonka birth-5 outreach programs, Home Visitor programs, ECFE summer school, MCEC child care, Early Childhood Screening, Minnetonka Preschool, and Child Family & Support Program (CFSP). Serve on the MCE Leadership Team, the MCEC Leadership Team, the District Admin. Council. Supervise, train, and evaluate all licensed and non-licensed staff in these programs. Manage program budgets and financial expenditures. This position may also include some teaching in the classroom.
