Job Description

The Business Consultant plays a critical role in the overall success of Infinite Campus customers.  The Business Consultant provides consulting services to school districts during the pre-sale, implementation and ongoing operations phases of the customer lifecycle. The Business Consultant will be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently with little guidance using time and resources efficiently.  As an effective communicator, the Business Consultant will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills (ex. persuasion, motivation) during both internal and external customer interactions. The Business Consultant will work closely with the designated client executive, sales representative, development, support and services teams and other stakeholders as appropriate. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize a combination of product knowledge, knowledge of K-12 business processes and professional consulting skills to ensure a quality customer experience.
  • Participate in the creation, maintenance and execution of consistent implementation processes and methodologies.
  • Conduct on-site policy and procedure meetings, including site observations of current product specific processes and practices.
  • Facilitate and report functional and data gap-analysis customer activities.
  • Provide informal 1-1 / 1-small group training as needed throughout the customer implementation.
  • Research issues and provide recommended resolutions; consult on Infinite Campus product best practices in K-12 educational environments.
  • Provide escalation and consulting assistance to support and service personnel during troubleshooting and resolution of customer reported issues.
  • Contribute to the Statement of Work and other project scoping documents
  • Complete all time and expense reporting per published timelines and HR guidelines
  • Access Infinite Campus customer data in conversion and live sites adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines
  • Other related duties as assigned

Desired Background

  • BA/BS in an area of K-12 related field.
  • Solid working knowledge of multiple K-12 SIS enterprise software and practices.
  • 5-8 years minimum experience with Infinite Campus student information system and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, good organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Evidence of leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills are required.

  • Job Related Travel minimum of 50% anticipated.

Job Description

The State Reporting Success Specialist plays a pivotal role in the overall success of customers and the Campus Support team, ensuring customer satisfaction with state reporting. This role primarily involves educating district support contacts, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting complex state reporting issues, and providing mentorship within the team. The State Reporting Success Specialist collaborates with various departments within Infinite Campus and Channel Partners to deliver exceptional support and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Representation: Serve as the primary state reporting representative for Campus Support, bridging communication between Customer Experience, Product Development, Business Development, and channel partners to enhance visibility and build strong relationships.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers with questions, requests, or troubleshooting problems related to state reporting.
  • Customer Education: Provide state reporting education to district support contacts, ensuring they understand how to successfully submit state reporting.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide proactive expert state reporting guidance to district support contacts, assisting them in troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively.
  • Complex Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems while efficiently prioritizing and knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Documentation: Thoroughly document all support incidents and customer requests in the tracking system, ensuring timely updates and tracking unresolved incidents.
  • Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day based on evolving circumstances.
  • Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about the steps being taken to resolve their incident or service request.
  • Process Improvement: Seek out areas needing improvement and drive efforts to fill gaps. Contribute insights into best practices and downstream impacts in cross-department meetings.
  • Data Security: Adhere to established practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines when accessing Infinite Campus production customer data and test sites.
  • Limited Travel: Limited job-related travel, less than 10% of the time.
  • Other Duties: Take on other related duties as assigned, ensuring a comprehensive and proactive approach to responsibilities.

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of Infinite Campus products, specifically state reporting.
  • Work experience within K-12 education.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle.

Minimum qualifications for the position:

Must hold or be eligible for a license as an Elementary School Principal in Minnesota
Experience either as a principal, assistant principal or in another school leadership capacity
Experience with STEM and/or STEAM is preferred for Zanewood Community STEAM School
