Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.  Develop, support, and sustain implementation of rigorous scholar learning through differentiated, extended, and enriched (DEE) instruction and opportunities including working collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure scholars are engaged in challenging learning and discover their unique interests and strengths, facilitating and supporting implementation of English Language Arts and Math academic challenges, supporting development of individual scholar goals and facilitating independent scholar projects, working collaboratively with building leaders to identify, plan, and deliver DEE instruction and opportunities, monitoring the fidelity of DEE implementation; initiate and sustain collaboration within and across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement; make appropriate and equitable use of resources and technologies; maintain contact and communication with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers and community, state, and federal agencies; collaborate within and across departments, programs, and sites; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school, program, or department for which employed; provide in-person, synchronous, learning and support when applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the program, building and/or district at the discretion of the supervisor.

Teacher – Early Childhood

Responsibilities and tasks include:

Implement Preschool (3-4 year olds) and Pre-K (4-5 year olds) classes to include delivery and design of lessons that align with the curriculum and assessment practices of the Early Childhood & Family Education program.
Teaching practices align with a multiple tiered support system with the goal to develop school readiness skills.
Teach as a  member of a classroom team to possibly include the following: a parent educator, Educational Support Professional (ESP) and possibly Early Childhood Special Education staff,
Provide leadership and work direction for ESP.
Maintain consistent communication with parents and work with them in the development of their child.
Maintain attractive and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Attend and contribute to program staff meetings and training.
Implement Early Childhood Developmental Screening.
Support outreach efforts.

Student Achievement Advisor

Full Time  195 days/8 hrs per day – 2024-25 school year

Duties:  Attendance & Participation at site level meetings, district level meetings, district-wide staff development and/or trainings as related to position. Attendance & Participation on site School Improvement Planning (SIP) Team, site Response to Intervention (RIT) team, and site Cultural Responsive Teaching (CRT) Team. Participate in school activities such as, but not limited to: Student-Family-Teacher Conferences, WEB, Arts and Academic Celebrations, etc. Participate in student non-instruction time by being actively visible in cafeteria (breakfast & lunch), hallways (before and after school), passing between classes and recess.  Collaboration with AH CRT District Support Team. Meet with site level administrative team and/or principal and/or principal’s designee (as needed).  Develop and coordinate peer leadership programming at site and district level. Monitor specific data surrounding site and district School Improvement Planning (SIP) Goals. Act as a liaison for students and/or families of color between school and home. Provide assistance for new student transitions. Refer students and families to appropriate school personnel for further services and support beyond scope of Student Achievement Advisor. Other duties as assigned.

Salary:  $40,283; Salary with BA: $42,281; Salary with MA: $44,844.
