6-12 Social Studies Teacher
This posting is for a full-time 6-12 grade broad-field social studies instructor who will teach a variety of courses at the school. Social Justice Humanities Teacher
HSRA is looking for a Licensed Language Arts or Social Studies to work as an Social Justice Humanities teacher. We are looking for a dynamic personality that can excite our students about literacy, civic engagement, and historical inquiry through exciting hand-ons education in the classroom. At HSRA our teachers must incorporate cultural relevance, social justice, relevant material to the students, a creative use of technology, and a keen understanding of trauma sensitive classroom management. This teacher will run their Humanities classes using our model of blended learning, project based learning, and the curation of experiential learning opportunities.
Creative Math Specialist
HSRA is looking for a Licensed Math Teacher to work as a Creative Math Specialist. We are looking for a dynamic personality that can excite our students about math through creative engagement with exciting hand-ons education in the classroom. At HSRA our teachers must incorporate cultural relevance, social justice, relevant material to the students, a creative use of technology, and a keen understanding of trauma sensitive classroom management. This teacher should also incorporate an understanding of varied approaches to teaching math and collaborate with other subjects for team teaching when possible. This teacher will run their Math classes using our model of blended learning, competency based learning, and the curation of experiential learning opportunities.
Speech/Language Pathologists (2 available) 2710
Providedirectinstruction to students in the areas of speech and communication as outlined intheir IEPs. Consult with other staff members on the successful implementation of communication strategies and assistive devices within the educational setting. Complete speech/communication assessment on identified students. Complete the written documents related to speech services (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Progress Reports, etc.). Attend and sometimes facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students. Provide case management services for assigned students.
