Job Summary: Educate, plan, teach, facilitate and evaluate students and children identified with special education needs according to local, state and federal regulations and guidelines. Responsibilities: Plan and implements individualized instruction designed to meet the educational needs of children on IEPs Creates a learning environment conducive to the learning needs of children with disabilities Encourages student success by collaborating with classroom teachers and assisting with accommodations and modifications when appropriate Employs a variety of instructional techniques embedding technology when appropriate Conducts and carries out educational assessments Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law and district procedures
