This position exists to assist, support and work closely with teachers in providing educational and behavior support for students. Major Functions and Responsibilities: *Provide classroom assistance for students *Reinforce learning in small groups or with individual students *Assist monitoring supplementary work and independent study *Work closely with the teacher to make sure that students are finishing assignments and all work is being turned in

Math/ALC Study Skills Teacher – Middle School – .8 FTE – Beginning the 2017-18 school year. First semester would be teaching math for periods 5 and 6 and ALC for period 4. Second semester would be teaching full-time 8th grade math.

EBD Teacher
1.0 FTE – EBD Teacher – Pines School – Beginning the 2017-18 school year. Pines School teaches juveniles placed there by the court system.
Special Ed Teacher – Academic Communication Focus Program
Provide specialized instruction in a district wide academic communication focus program. Direct the work of paraprofessionals. Provide instruction based on grade level standards in both pull out and push in environments.Use evidence based instructional strategies. Implement compliant due process procedures and processes including maintenance of records, reporting, and confidentiality. Collaborate with general education staff and parents to increase student achievement. Participate and conduct training.
