Respond to level two and three inquiries and requests, define problems, identify and isolate issues, and implement technical solutions to solve problems. Configure and maintain various systems staff and student accounts. Troubleshoot the usage of the telecommunications systems, perform MACS, terminate patch panels, troubleshoot voice and data cabling and other general PBX/system level support that fall within defined guidelines and escalate more complex problems to next tier technical support team. Essential job functions include the following: Answer help desk calls; diagnose software and hardware issues via telephone, on-site or remote assistance in a timely and efficient manner. Provide level two and level three desktop support which may include update and install software as needed, replace computer hardware, such as memory, drives, video cards etc. troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a wired and wireless environment.
