DISTRICT INFORMATION: The South Washington County School district includes four St. Paul suburbs of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park and Woodbury as well as portions of three other communities. Our district includes approximately 100,000 residents with 19,000 students enrolled in our schools. We have sixteen (K-5) elementary schools, four (6-8) middle schools, three (9-12) high schools and an alternative high school. In the fall of 2018 the existing Oltman Middle School will be moved to a new location in Cottage Grove. The new school will be built for 1,200 students. POSITION SUMMARY: Perform instructional leadership and management of the educational program to maximize student learning under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent. Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with the philosophy, mission, values, goals and strategic plan of the school district. This includes instructional programs, co-curricular activities, and student management systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations and emergency procedures.
