Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assess and/or reassess students referred for special education services. Prepares and implements appropriate service plans for special education students, refers child/family to community agencies as needed, documents progress in the Individual Education Plan (IEP), attends IEP meetings. Provides individual and group support to help students resolve and/or cope with personal, emotional and social problems that interfere with their educational experience. Provides services to parents as an integral part of the task of helping students; to gain their parental participation in resolving their child’s problems. Assists families to better understand the school and its’ programs and to strengthen the communication link between school and home. Assists teachers and school administration through identification of special needs a child may have in school. Serve as a liaison between home, school community and other agencies through maintenance of positive relationships. Provides crisis intervention services. Participates in faculty meetings, special education meetings and inservice training. Fosters social work development through participation in workshops and conferences. Performs specific duties related to school social work which may be assigned by the Executive Director of Student Support Services. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Software Product Analyst
The Software Product Analyst II position is responsible for compiling state specific K12 Special Education requirements, creating proper documentation, testing functionality, analyzing and debugging issues with state specific components of the Infinite Campus system. The analyst is also responsible for localization based projects and will work with Support Representatives, Client Executives, Developers, Technical Writers, Project Managers and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure that necessary requirements are accurately integrated into the product, functionally documented and adequately tested. Job Responsibilities Take a proactive lead representing the Localization group in inter-departmental projects that create solutions for the customer and the team. Participate in design reviews to ensure requirements are interpreted and fulfilled correctly. Take on additional responsibilities at a team level. Create and maintain positive relationships with Department of Education contacts, Channel Partner personnel and appropriate end users to gather correct and consistent requirements. Conduct frequent User Focus Groups in all assigned states to confirm all requirements will meet the needs of all users. Create requirements documentation for specific state needs to be implemented in the Infinite Campus system. Participate in the initial case-level testing of state extracts and state specific features. Monitor specific states for changes and updates to state requirements. Research and test bugs, issues and enhancement requests for proper placement in the product. Work directly with assigned developers and Quality Assurance personnel to complete all projects in a timely manner. Complete other tasks as assigned.
