Extended Day Assistant
Grades K-8 Extended Day Assistant: This is a part time (12 month) position working with students in K-Grade 8 after school, on school release days, and during the summer. The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of a team, supervise and work well with students, and effectively communicate with parents. In addition, this candidate must be responsible and organized. The candidate must be committed to the MPA philosophy. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Summary: Plan, teach, and carry out all functions related to teaching in an elementary school classroom setting. The principal will give you your daily assignment. You will be expected to follow the daily schedule. Once a month, you will be required to take a scheduled day off from the staff calendar.
