Description: 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher, EBD Teacher at elementary level. Position is for the 2016/17 school year. Job Summary: Deliver direct and indirect special education services to students in a center-based program; follow due process and IEP procedures and manage the paperwork; communicate effectively with families and staff; develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, direct the work of paraprofessionals(s). Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student’s ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
