Mounds Park Academy is a PreK-12 independent school in St. Paul that serves approximately 500 students from throughout the Twin Cities area. For 34 years, Mounds Park Academy has engaged students in a rigorous college preparatory experience that is demanding, but not draining, and goes far beyond memorization. Students are challenged to apply their understanding to stir the human spirit, stand for justice, and shake the world. This is what we call rigor with purpose and it grounds our students in the radical idea that their identity in the world is not measured by a test score, but rather by the depth and decency of their impact on the world. Grades K-8 Extended Day and Summer Program Coordinator: This is a full time (12 month) position working with students in K-Grade 8 before and after school, on school release days, and during the summer. The ideal candidate should be able to work well with students, communicate with parents effectively, hire, schedule, and supervise staff, manage a budget, and plan after school programming. In addition, this candidate must be responsible, organized, and detail oriented. The candidate must have a strong desire to work as part of a team and be committed to the MPA philosophy.
