Job summary: Provide positive behavior interventions and support for students

Responsibilities and tasks include:

Provide tiered behavior interventions for students through an alternative to suspension program
Provide support for student management specialists, assistant principal and principal
Provide behavior support for hallway, restroom and lunch supervision
Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications include:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrate ability to work with students
Computer and word processing experience helpful

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

Demonstrable ability to work with children.
Human Relations: Helping and serving.
Computer and word processing experience helpful.

Salary: View Classification II (2) salary grid on page 4, section 2, and classification, page 5, section 2 on Educational Support Professional contract

Work schedule: 6 hours/day; 5 days/week (8:10am-2:40pm)

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Coordinate and support school-wide Title I program including identifying, developing, and implementing plans and strategies for initiating, sustaining, and improving Title I programming and initiatives, collaborating with administrators to build staffs’ capacity to ensure meaningful experiences in Title I education for scholars, providing professional learning, resources, and support to staff in the implementation of Title I services, programming, curriculum and instruction, researching, examining, and making recommendations on current and emerging Title I practices, monitoring the fidelity of Title I program implementation; facilitate and support teacher collaboration in the development and implementation of Title I instruction; make appropriate and equitable use of district and Title I resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school, program or department for which employed; maintain contact and communication with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers and community, state, and federal agencies; collaborate within and across departments, programs, and sites; provide in-person, synchronous, learning and support when applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the program, building and/or district at the discretion of the supervisor.

Title I Specialist

Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree required
MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.*
If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.*

Registered Nurse

General Purpose of Job:  To inspire and prepare each and every student with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.  Collect, review and communicate enrolling student’s health data to district sites. Educate and assist families in gathering medical information to meet student’s health needs in the school setting. Communicate incoming student needs with related services providers throughout the district.

Responsibilities:

Understands the enrollment process and collaborates with enrollment staff to ensure complete and timely student enrollment.
Reviews medical history and immunization enrollment documents
Communicates with families to review health concerns and immunization information.
Contact parents and assist with completing missing immunizations or CO process
Stay up to date and provide families with information on MN State Statutes and Federal immunization requirements and changes to immunization laws.
Collaborates with NW Immunization Clinic to schedule immunization appointments, obtain previous immunization records from other states, schools and clinics, and create and/or update MIIC.
Prevent and control communicable disease through health status, and implementation of the state immunization law.
Understands, implements, and stays up to date with current immunization requirements and the enrollment process under McKinney Vento as it applies to our homeless and foster care students.
Collaborates with district Homeless Liaison to ensure enrollments under McKinney Vento are identified, expedited, and followed up and assisted with immunization compliance.
Provide information to enrolling families on medication consents and documentation needed for students that require health care or emergency action plans.
Documents all parent/ENR health data and communications into Synergy.
Communicates with building nurses, of students with medical needs being enrolled in their schools.
Collaborates with the SEBC  to ensure proper student placement within the district.
Collaborates with enrollment counselor to ensure identified needs are shared with the appropriate counseling staff at the enrolling school.
Reviews SPED evaluations, IEP, and previous school records as needed.
Promote and maintain health and well-being of students, families and school personnel by health teaching and health counseling.
Serve as a resource to faculty for health education purposes
Train and supervise volunteers/staff whenever they are used in the enrollment department.
Coordinates and executes educational in-services and updates as part of the initial and ongoing training/education of all nurses in the district as it pertains to immunizations, school immunization law, compliance and process, Synergy documentation, and MIIC interpretation.
Participates in the Enrollment Center Health and Safety Committee.
Participates in the Enrollment Center’s On-Line Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  Must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:
1)  Basic first aid and health screening
2)  Strong verbal and written communication skills
3)  Customer Service focused
4)  Ability to communicate and foster positive working relationships with students, parents and staff.
5)  Ability to teach health information to student/family groups
6)  Public health background preferred
5)  Current CPR
6)  Strong Computer skills, Synergy, MIIC, Google docs/app, Adobe Pro., Interpreter services
7)  Ability to analyze and present data to stakeholders

Job Type:    Full-time, 218 day contract, 8 hour days, school year with flexed summer hours

Community Education Enrichment Instructor

Candidate: Seeking an enrichment instructor to teach adult and youth after school and evening classes in Community Education. Includes developing curriculum and in-person instruction. Instructor is able to determine number of days/weeks, topic areas, and curriculum content. Instructors work with the Program Manager and Coordinator of Enrichment to work through what works for the instructor.

Location:       Various Locations, Maple Grove, MN

Grades:         Pre-K through Adult

Days:             Monday-Saturday

Dates:            Winter classes run January-March
Spring classes run April-June
Summer classes/camps run June-August

Time:              Varies for youth and for adult.
Youth runs between approx. 3-6 pm
Adult runs between approx. 5-9:30 pm

Pay:                Per Enrichment Instructor guidelines and will be determined with HR based on background and education qualifications.
