The Administrative Dean is the primary administrator and coordinator of the day to day student management and attendance matters. The Administrative Dean will also assist the principal in hiring and supervising staff and in providing instructional leadership and staff development opportunities for staff. The Administrative Dean must enroll in at least single health coverage. *Term life insurance policy equal to $150,000.00, the employee may purchase additional coverage (accidental death and dismemberment or supplemental life.) *District contribution to Deferred Compensation Plan:$500 per year (Tenured 9 years) $700 per year ( 10 – 18 years) $900 per year (19+ years) *Long Term Disability: district pays premium to cover 50% of employee’s salary. *Professional Development: District contribution of $750 per year *Professional Association Dues: District pays for one State and one National association. *Twelve (12) days of Personal Time off (PTO) are granted per year. Job Summary: Assists in the development and implementation of the mission and vision of the school. Participates in formalized peer review processes as a formative evaluator. *Serves on district-level committees and teams. *Assists with the selection and support of new ESL staff. *Develops/implements/revises program procedures and policies in accordance with local, state and federal laws and guidelines. *Develops data collection systems, monitors data collection and provides programmatic recommendations based upon results. *Maintains knowledge of current laws and regulations pertaining to English language learners through attendance at meetings, in-service programs, conferences and reading current literature. *Participates on school-based LEP Committees and School Improvement Teams as appropriate. *Coaches and advises ESL staff on appropriate methods of language instruction, lesson delivery and program design, scheduling, and service models. *Maintains district ESL website. *Performs other related duties as assigned.
