The Executive Director of Teaching & Learning is responsible for district-wide curriculum, staff development, instructional practices, and serves as a member of the district leadership team and superintendent’s cabinet. The Executive Director actively participates in the development, implementation and achievement of the District’s strategic plan. The Executive Director also coordinates district-wide professional learning communities, gifted programming, digital resources, and integration equity services. Position Description: White Bear Lake Area Schools, an innovative district with a legacy of excellence, is seeking a Director of Community Education and Recreation to promote, lead and supervise a wide range of educational, recreational and developmental activities to all members of the community. The Director works directly under the Superintendent, and is responsible for managing for strategic and operational excellence in all programming.
