Duties and Responsibilities:*Provides leadership in all aspects of technology for the school district. *Serves as a member of, and collaborates with, the Cabinet and Superintendent in the development, refinement and execution of the district strategic plan, involving all stakeholders. *Leads district initiatives, collaborating across departments and functional areas, to support adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business, including those that improve teaching and learning. *Creates and supports cross-functional teams for needs assessment, decision-making, technology support, professional development and other aspects of the district technology program. *Supervises and supports a team of technology specialists to manage user accounts, end user hardware and enterprise information technology infrastructure including: data center, network and disaster recovery in a virtualized environment. to meet the goals of the strategic plan. *Provides a high level of customer service to district staff with the ability to problem solve situations and provide prompt incident resolution. *Facilitates the skill development of all employees in the operation of technology.
