The Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking an Education Director for the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Faribault (MCF-FRB). In conjunction with the Education Director Rogers Building, this position provides effective leadership and management of educational programs and resources at MCF-FRB with the goal of meeting each offender’s educational needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Provide effective administrative leadership and administration of offender educational programs and services in the Aspen/Pine Building to ensure that the educational needs of offenders are met in accordance with DOC philosophy, policy, and procedure at MCF-FRB. *Monitor Education infrastructure and assist in managing budgets for educational programs and services at MCF-FRB. *Provide supervisory oversight of all career technical programming at MCF-FRB. Assist the Education Director-Rogers Building with overseeing literacy education programming at MCF-FRB. *Administer personnel practices, directives, and instructions in the management of human resources so that applicable labor agreements and plans are equitably administered and employees effectively perform assigned job duties to achieve the objectives of the MCF-FRB Operations unit. *Provide public relations services to ensure accurate and positive presentation of the Education Unit. This position has direct contact with offenders. Travel is required approximately 10% of the time.

Assistant Superintendent, Leadership, Teaching, and Learning
