Salary: $158,815 – $170,815 (260 days: July 1 – June 30)

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: Compensation and benefits will be determined by the Contract Agreement negotiated by District 112 and the Association of Building Administrators. This position is not eligible for overtime or comp time.

Benefits: Competitive benefit package includes: contribution toward medical and dental insurance; contribution to deferred compensation plan, 25 days of vacation, 12 paid holidays, sick and bereavement leave, life insurance; professional development fund; and professional membership in one state and one national organization.

Health Care Careers Teacher

Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking a Medical Careers teacher for the upcoming school year.  The program serves students in grades 9-12 at the High School.  The program offers an “Exploring Medical Careers” class, along with a number of courses that are concurrently offered through Pine Technical College which include: medical dosages, medical terminology, and pharmacology.  The program also offers a CNA certification through the “Nursing Assistant Comprehensive” class, and EMR class/certification, and EMT class/certification.
