General Purpose of Job: Provide secretarial/clerical support to the Enrollment Center.
Responsibilities:
Meet and greet customers.
Answer and return phone calls.
Verify and process paperwork for the enrollment of students.
Request records from previous school.
Enter enrollment information in Access and Synergy.
Transfer completed enrollment records to schools.
Provide administrative support in the form of typing, word processing, filing, duplicating materials, faxing, etc.
Responsible for ordering supplies.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Provide Outstanding customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Extensive secretarial/clerical and computer skills including: Google Suite, Publisher, Mail Merge, Word, Access
Extensive skills in developing and maintaining record system
Knowledge of district policies as they affect the general operation of the building
Ability to maintain confidentiality of the materials and information disseminated daily
Human relation strengths including helping, serving, and exchanging information
Strong communication skills; oral and written
Preferred qualifications include:
Fluent in Spanish, Hmong, or Vietnamese.
Comfortable working with diverse cultures.
Strong customer service skills and understanding of customer service theory.
Salary: Class III-B, View salary grid on Page 5, Section 1, and Classification, Pages 6 – 7, Section 3 of the Administrative Education Support Professionals (AESPs) contract
Work schedule: 8 hours/day, 260/261 days per year
Job type or FTE: Full-time, Temporary (Approximately October 30, 2023 through October 29, 2024)
