Job summary:  Provide secretarial support to Administration and Counseling Staff.

Responsibilities and tasks include:Provide secretarial support in the form of typing, filing, emailing and faxing student records and communication between parents and Administration.
Greeting and helping students in Student Services.
Support Administration
Support Counselors: Schedule student meetings, Process student course changes, and more.
Type, record and file reports relating to counseling activities and the functioning of the guidance department.
Back up to the Building Secretary – AESOP and Sub prep.
Support the Main Office.
Duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications include:  High school graduate or equivalent.  Previous office experience required.

Preferred Qualifications include: Vocational or advanced training in office procedures desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule office responsibilities.
Good communication skills (oral and written).
General office skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail.
Ability to develop and maintain record systems.
Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people within and from outside the district.
Human Relations:  Helping, exchanging information.

School Social Worker .5 FTE
