English/Language Arts Teacher – .8 FTE

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a valid MN License: English/Language Arts or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with secondary level students
  • Strong knowledge of English/Language Arts and standards
  • Collaborate team member of a PLC, striving to implement best practices for instruction and assessment
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, community and students
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, parents and students

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the needs of students through formal and informal assessments
