FTE:  1.0 (split between two buildings)
Responsible To:  Building Principals; Special Education Director/Supervisor
Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Special Education K-12 in any disability area.

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Dean of Students-Elementary School

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Dean will serve in the capacity to offer assistance to the building principal and social worker in each building to help ensure students’ needs are being met

 

Work with Problem Solving Team to

  • Identify and maintain check-in/check-out system for students-at-risk and process referrals.
  • Monitor specific student behavior plans and provide support by monitoring progress, providing student support and connecting with families.
  • Connect with families of students who have high truancy due to tardies or unexcused absences.
  • Provide student supervision as needed (e.g., recess, field trip, mornings).
  • Coordinate or serve as a member of various building teams and provide support and guidance for students in need of intervention (e.g. 1:1 intervention, small group facilitation, large group).
  • Coordinate Targeted Services Interventions.

 

Teacher Support:

  • Works with Staff to: Assist teams with determining strategic interventions for Tier I and Tier II services.
  • Assist with the completion of paperwork and documentation for intervention data gathering.
  • Provide support to PLC and grade level teams to identify and discuss issues relating to student progress.
  • Serve as or support school assessment coordinator.General:
  • Assist with the implementation of operational guidelines in the areas of student activities, field trips, standardized testing programs, student conduct, community involvement/collaboration.
  • Attend IEP meetings as administrative representative, as necessary.
  • CPI training may be required for this assignment.
  • Coordination of testing responsibilities
  • Provide positive leadership in MTSS
  • Student Intervention

Supervisory Responsibilities: May provide work direction to non-licensed staff.

Board – Certified Behavior Analyst

DESCRIPTION:

Maintains the grounds of all district schools in a condition of safety, neatness and aesthetic attractiveness. Helps in other areas as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma.
18 years of age or older
Must have a valid MN driver’s license
Certificate of good health.
Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned.
Experience operating equipment related to job responsibilities.
Appropriate experience and or training directly related to the job responsibilities preferred.

Full-Time Back- Up Lead Custodian – Centennial High School
8 hours/day – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM   – 261 days per year –  Monday thru Friday
Starts ASAP

To maintain a safe and clean environment for students and staff. Job involves primarily cleaning
responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 1st Class Boilers License Required
2. Certificate of good health.

Career and Technical Education Manager
