Must hold a valid elementary education- K-6 teaching license in the State of Minnesota.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

POSITION: Varsity Boys Lacrosse- Head Coach
Work Schedule: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM (will be dependent on match and practice schedules)
Start Date: March 13, 2023
Season Dates: April 3, 2023 – June 10, 2023
Compensation: Per schedule B of the Centennial Teachers Contract
Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the Centennial High School Boys’ Lacrosse program including but not limited to setting up practices, games, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and games; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; willingness to work in collaboration with the Centennial Youth Lacrosse Association, with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.
• Previous and positive lacrosse coaching experience at the youth, high school, or collegiate level
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with students, staff and community
Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and
conflict resolution. Ability to work collaboratively with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.

Job Description Summary: The Director of Professional Learning is responsible for planning professional development to meet the needs of both MASA and its affiliate, the Minnesota Association for Special Education Administrators (MASE). The Director will develop diverse approaches to meeting those needs. The Director is the chief organizer and facilitator of conferences, events, professional development sessions for members and governing boards, and committee meetings for both organizations. The Director will negotiate contracts for all conferences and events, coordinate awards, conduct and facilitate training sessions, develop budgets, and establish strong relationships with members, business partners, education organizations/agencies, others in the field of education and those not directly involved in education yet who desire to partner and support MASA’s passion for ensuring equitable outcomes for every student.

The Director of Professional Learning will promote member engagement and provide direct support and assistance to members. - 12 month remote position with scheduled in-person staff meetings and overnight travel obligations
- Position involves work at multiple locations and venues across the state
- Reports to the MASA Executive Director
Qualifications: To succeed in this position, the person selected must be dedicated, hardworking, able to manage multiple projects concurrently, have highly developed human relations skills, understand adult learning theory, and demonstrate a commitment to public education with a deep belief in continuous improvement. The person will also demonstrate exemplary oral and written communication skills.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree and considerable successful experience in E-12 education required
