Banded/Graded:  C-5-2

Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Secondary Math

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills: This is a fulltime position in Special Education  see attachment  SpEd Support Teacher – district- wide position.

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Elementary center-based program – DISCOVER. The DISCOVER program provides each student with individualized instruction, supports and services needed to access the general education setting when appropriate to provide social interactions with peers and to increase independence. All district center-based programs are multi-categorical based on student needs. This program primarily serves students having needs identified and qualified for special education services under the categories of Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) including Moderate and Severe/Profound, Severe Multiple Impairments (SMI) or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech Language Pathologist

We are looking for an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help with traditional pull out and push in speech therapy as well as somebody who is excited about creative speech therapy programs and opportunities. We currently run an engaging preschool speech group to focus on different target sounds each week throughout our activities in a small group preschool model.

We work on greetings, social skills, and future communication skills that employers would require for our Junior/Senior High and Transitions programs.

Strong collaborating team of SLP’s and Special Education staff throughout the district. Our district promotes and welcomes providing speech therapy in creative ways.

General Definition of Work

Performs difficult professional work locating, identifying and serving speech/language impaired students, preparing and maintaining student and program records, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work is performed under the general direction of the Special Services Director.

Industrial Tech Teacher (Carpentry)
