CENTERVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is the connecting hub for the communities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes, located 20 minutes north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. SPECIAL EDUCATION ELEMENTARY TEACHER- Multi-Categorical
1.0 FTE – Centerville Elementary- Starting August 21, 2023.
183 Workdays       8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid special education teaching license in two or more disability areas (DCD, EBD, SLD, ASD, or ABS) in the State of Minnesota.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES:
Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA
contract.

Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.

Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools. Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula.

Administer standardized, formative and state mandated assessments and interpret results to determine student strengths and areas of need.
