Chatfield Elementary Principal Job Summary:

Organize the school’s education program including resource allocation, curriculum, staffing, and reporting procedures within the overall context of state and local directive and policies.

Essential job functions include the following:

  • Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all School Board policies, administrative and State Department of Education.
  • Provide leadership for building professional learning communities.
  • Supervise the development, revision and evaluation of the curriculum.
  • Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative and non-professional personnel assigned to the school.
  • Assume primary responsibility in the recruiting, hiring, training, assigning and evaluation of the schools professional staff.
  • Assume responsibility for the administration of the school plant according to federal, state and local regulations.
  • Delegate authority as necessary for the operation of the school.
  • Maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline as necessary, according to due process.
  • Supervise the preparation of all school reports for the District Center including the maintenance of accurate records on the progress and attendance of students.
  • Supervise the maintenance of accurate records on the progress, health and attendance of students.
  • Act as liaison between the school and community, interpreting activities and policies of the school and encouraging community participation in school life.
  • Administer the collective bargaining contracts of teachers, custodians, clerks and paraprofessionals at the building level.
  • Responsible for Title I and II Programs.

Special Education Paraprofessional- EBD Program

CENTENNIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL

Special Education Paraprofessional- EBD Program
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, and assisting with individual instruction. Other duties as assigned.

JOB GOAL:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Professional Skills – The teacher is expected to establish procedures of management to allow a maximum of learning and a minimum of disciplinary action by:

12. Following curriculum and policies approved by the Board.
13. Cooperating in evaluation of present curriculum.
14. Recommending possible revision of curriculum.
15. Being proficient or distinguished in all areas listed on the Teacher Performance Evaluation.
16. Communicating professionally and respectfully with students, staff, parents, and community members, using oral, written, and electronic means.
17. Attending work regularly.
18. Performing other duties as assigned.

Professional Development: The teacher is expected to demonstrate professional development by:
1. Participating actively in inservice programs.
2. Keeping abreast of professional developments in his/her particular area and in education as a whole.

Centennial Area Learning Center  –  8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required.

Salary Range: $92,286 (full 260 day year June – July, salary will be prorated)

Responsible To: Director of Buildings and Grounds
Position Purpose:  To recruit, hire and evaluate 60 + full-time custodial and maintenance staff in the operation, cleaning and maintenance of district buildings and sites. Coordinates construction projects with contractors. Provides long range maintenance planning and deferred maintenance project development within budget guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifictions:Associate Degree with a minimum of three years’ experience in planning, operating, and maintaining facilities; minimum of five years’ experience; in building maintence management  or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities with supervisory experience.
Valid Minnesota Driver License
Minnesota 2C Boiler License or above preferred
Certified Pool Operator License preferred

BLUE HERON ELEMENTARY
.5 FTE – Licensed Care Specialist
4 hours/day 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) with the State of Minnesota.
-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.

Responsibilities:
Direct Care, Medication Administration, Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations, Health Screenings, Implementation of Procedures under the direction/delegation of the Licensed School Nurse.
