Technical Director (Coach/Advisor)

Qualifications/Duties:

We are looking for an experienced person to help supervise/support the set build/carpentry for the Fall Musical
Good communication skills
Respect/recognition of youth needs
Experience working with high school students in set construction, lighting, sound, stage management
Coaching license/certification recommended/not required
The Tech Director will work at the direction of the Head Director
Ability to be present at build sessions, rehearsals, and performances
Supervise students and provide a positive, instructive presence
Background check will be conducted

Physical Education Teacher

Position is full-time, part of the teacher bargaining unit and based at both the High School and Middle School.  Salary and benefits part of Master Agreement

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a valid MN License: Physical Education or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.  Health and DAPE license preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with secondary level students
  • Strong knowledge of physical education and standards
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, community and students
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the needs of students through formal and informal assessments
  • Plan, develop and implement appropriate lessons to ensure the achievement of student growth
  • Communicate with students, parents and staff on regular basis on student progress
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
  • Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
  • Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Banded/Graded:  B-2-1
Salary:  New Drivers (licensed) = $21.15/hour. After 90 Days = $21.66/hour. Additional Pay for Years of Experience per Bus Driver/Dispatcher Contract.

Responsible To:  Director of Transportation

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:  Provide transportation for students to ensure they arrive safely and in a timely manner.

Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2021:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Bus Drivers/Dispatchers and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
