DISTRICT WIDE LICENSED CARE SPECIALIST FLOAT- Temporary
1.0 FTE – Licensed Care Specialist- LPN or RN
-Assignment will be at least 6 weeks long with potential to be 12 weeks in length
8 hours/day- hours dependent on building need
Elementary School Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM
Middle and High School Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) with the State of Minnesota.
-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities:
Direct Care, Medication Administration, Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations, Health Screenings, Implementation of Procedures under the direction/delegation of the Licensed School Nurse.

WAGES: Consistent with the current Teachers’ Master Agreement. Starting at $23.57.
