Job Responsibilities
Work with children in the Central Cluster. Provide speech/language therapy and conduct evaluations and re-evaluations. Participate in collaborative teams. Provide services using the 3-in-1 model of speech services.

9-12 Credit Recovery Teachers at BHS – Math and Science

9-12 Credit Recovery Teachers at BHS – Math and Science

Position Type:        ALC Credit Recovery – Secondary

Location:                Burnsville High School

Hours:                    Full Time – 8 hours a day

Salary:                   Per Unit Agreement (BEA Teacher Contract)

The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has licensed teaching openings for the 2022-2023 Credit Recovery program.  Credit Recovery program teachers will be utilizing a combination of Edgenuity online curriculum and synchronous instruction via Google Meet or ZOOM.  9-12 Credit Recovery programming will be an Independent Study model, and the teaching schedule will be flexible to meet student needs.

Dates of 9-12 Credit Recovery programming are as follows:

Required Staff orientation- Date and time TBD

Session 1- September 6 – January 20 (2022)
Session 2- January 24 – June 8  (2023)

Behavior Interventionist Teacher .50 FTE – Akin Road Elementary

Exciting opportunity to work part time (.50 FTE), flexible schedule.   Highly qualified Behavior Intervention Specialist with knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals, groups and systems through the application of positive behavior supports.

The Behavior Specialist helps coordinate Functional Assessments of Behavior and Behavior Intervention Plan that address students’ inappropriate behaviors and provide a means to help the students become more academically successful.  Behavior Intervention Specialist also provides classroom and school-wide behavior management strategies.
