Edina Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Edina Virtual Pathways (EVP) Administrative Coordinator. The Edina Virtual Pathway is an online experience that utilizes the excellence of Edina faculty and curriculum. It is a fully standard aligned pathway with the flexibility to meet the unique needs of every student and family situation. This position will support the Edina Virtual Pathway students, faculty, staff, and families, while also continuing to grow the program.
Essential Duties of the Position Include:
Online School Learning Program Management
-Plans, organizes, and provides leadership in the areas of digital curriculum design and online learning
-Facilitates the online curriculum development for the virtual pathways’ online learning program to provide for equitable access to authentic digital resources and learning experiences for each student
-Develops program goals ensuring alignment with student need
-Creates a culturally competent and inclusive learning environment that enhances student learning
-Serves as a liaison between school building administration and the District Media and Technology and Teaching and Learning Departments
Communication
-Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Communications in the planning, creation, and execution of communication and publications including, but not limited to, district website content, videos, newsletters, press releases, brochures, social media, and promotional materials that support the district’s reputation for excellence
-Maintains regular communication with students and families and builds positive relationships
-Sets, monitors, and communicates program milestones to ensure sufficient progress towards the achievement of program goals
