CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is the connecting hub for the communities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes, located 20 minutes north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Centennial High School

1.0   FTE – Signing Interpreter              Starting August 2022

7 hours/day                  8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must hold current interpreter and transliterator certificates awarded by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or the general level interpreter proficiency certificate awarded by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), or a comparable state certification from the commissioner of education; and satisfactorily complete and interpreter/transliterator training program affiliated with an accredited educational institution.

-Provide services for students in regular education settings.

-Facilitator of communication between the student who is Deaf Hard of Hearing and the mainstream teachers and students.

-Interpreter is a member of the educational team and works closely with the classroom teacher, teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing, and other specialist.

-Educational interpreter attends individual education plan (IEP) meetings and provides input related to the student’s communication needs and abilities.

-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.

-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.

-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

-Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.

-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

WAGES: Starting at $29.71/hr.

Technology Coordinator

The Technology Coordinator will provide leadership in planning and managing district information systems consistent with the goal of providing relevant, efficient information systems and support for all students and staff.  The Technology Coordinator will supervise the technology staff in a manner consistent with established policies. This position will serve as the primary District resource in areas related to technology and work closely with District Administration to align the technology plan with District’s strategic plan.

1.0 FTE – Licensed Care Specialist              Starting August 2022
7.5 hours/day                   7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed LPN with the State of Minnesota.
-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES: Consistent with the current Paraprofessionals Master Agreement.

RICE LAKE ELEMENTARY
1.0 FTE – Registered Nurse or Licensed School Nurse- 1:1            Starting August 2022
8 hours/day                    8:30 AM – 4:15 PM
-Position includes riding the bus to and from school with the student.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed nurse (RN or LSN) with the State of Minnesota.
-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
