CENTENNIAL ALTERNATIVE LEARNING CENTER

7:15 AM – 3:15 PM 183 work days
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed teacher with the State of Minnesota.
-Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Special services instructional coach (TOSA)
● This role will have a dedicated focus on interventions and supporting the problem-solving process.
● The Instructional Coach will support learners and staff directly with learning.
● The Instructional Coach will assist the Special Services and Teaching and Learning leadership team in identifying areas of professional development and keep up to date with best practices and effective research-based instructional practices to support learner groups identified through the state as being overidentified in the area of specific learning disabilities.
● The Instructional Coach will provide personalized support and direct modeling that is based on identified goals and needs of individual learners and teachers to best support student growth, specifically in groups of learners that have been overidentified as having a disability.
● Review demographic data trends for interventions, referrals and qualifications for services to determine if programming and supports are effective.
● Participate in department, school, and district meetings, such as iTeam, EL, ADSIS and IPR.
● Collaborate with the MTSS Coordinator.
● Perform all other related work required to ensure the effective implementation of interventions and support of learner growth.

Serve as the liaison and administrator for our learners accessing Intermediate District 917 for learning, main point of contact for paraprofessional hiring and placements, supports Due Process implementation district-wide and supervises and facilitates ESY and Recovery Services.
· Support Farmington learners receiving services through Intermediate District 917 programs
· Supporting IEP meetings as a district representative
· Supports district-wide evaluation process
· Supervises and coordinates ESY and Recovery Services
· Supports secondary ADSIS
· Supports center-based programming at secondary level
Kindergarten Teacher

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER
1.0 FTE – Blue Heron Elementary
183 work days 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid elementary education teaching license with Kindergarten endorsement in the State of Minnesota.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA
contract.
