POSITION:
Centennial High School Attendance Clerk – 8 hours per day – 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
185 workdays per year – beginning Fall 2022.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments and directs or escorts them to the appropriate person.
Receives and routes incoming communications.
Manages daily attendance reporting, 3-day absence letters, extracurricular activities attendance, and outside agency communication as needed.
Provides administrative clerical support services.
Maintains and monitors the release of student records.
Performs such other tasks consistent with the position as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post high school training required with business and finance experience preferred.
Successful experience in an office setting required.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school dealings.
Proven success in keyboarding and computer software required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work as a positive contributing member of an office team.
Proven, successful experience working with minimal supervision accompanied by successful problem-solving skills.
Proven, successful experience relating well to school-aged youth as well as to adults.
Ability to multi-task in a high energy environment.

WAGES/BENEFITS:
As per the current Administrative Assistant/Clerk master agreement. Paid benefit package.

Metro ECSU & Success Beyond the Classroom Communications and Events Coordinator

General Summary/Purpose of Job:
The Communications and Events Coordinator facilitates logistical and organizational tasks related to Metro ECSU professional development events and Success Beyond the Classroom (SBC) student programs. This Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining the Metro ECSU website, developing marketing materials, and communicating programming offered through Metro ECSU & SBC to members and external agencies.

Essential Duties:
These duties are a representative sample; duties may vary. Full time position.

Support Marketing Efforts for Metro ECSU & SBC programming:
Maintain and update list of superintendents, executive assistants, curriculum directors, and principals
Create flyers about Metro ECSU & SBC events
Send email marketing blasts every other week, or as needed
Manage Metro ECSU social media accounts and post regularly
Proofread Metro ECSU’s e-newsletter and additional documents as needed

Maintain Metro ECSU website and ensure webpages have accessible document formatting{
Consult with Metro ECSU’s accessibility expert as needed

Facilitate, Support and Attend Successful Metro ECSU & SBC events:

Respond to initial professional development requests from districts or schools (in consultation with the Executive Director)
Assist in finding and coordinating speaker(s) and topics for workshops and developing an agenda
Reserve event space and/or set up a virtual meeting space
Work with caterer if needed
Work with Executive Director to prepare a contract and collect signature(s) for the vendor contract and presenter contract
Create marketing materials (emails, flyers, social media posts, web site content) to communicate Metro ECSU & SBC workshop opportunities and student conference and academic competitions
Set up and monitor event registration
Email reminders, agenda, and Zoom link to participants
Create nametags, sign-in sheets, directional signage, handouts for in-person events
Coordinate with and assist workshop presenter
Create POs, send invoices, and process payments from attendees
Create registration on MQR site
Oversee check-in the day of event (both in-person and virtual)
Create certificates of attendance and request certificates from licensing agencies (CEUs from MDE, BOSA, etc.)
Create, send, and summarize evaluation surveys

Facilitate and support Metro ECSU’s Homeschool Liaison and Friday Forum Networks:
Schedule dates and reserve space or secure virtual technology
Create and update flyers
Create and monitor registration pages
Assist in finding and coordinating speaker(s) and topics for each session
Assist in creating an agenda
Email reminders, agenda, and Zoom link to participants
Assist in facilitating sessions
Record and distribute minutes
Create contracts if necessary
Create certificates of attendance and request certificates from licensing agencies (CEUs from MDE, BOSA, etc.)
Create, send, summarize evaluation surveys
Create POs, send invoices, and process payments from attendees

Facilitate and support Metro ECSU’s Health & Safety monthly meetings and quarterly trainings:
Receive and process annual Health & Safety Program membership fees
Work with Health & Safety Specialist to schedule registered unlicensed electrical and chemical hygiene quarterly trainings
Coordinate with presenters as needed
Communicate and send reminders to participants
Track and record attendance at meetings/events
Reserve event space or secure virtual technology
Catering and event set up (if in-person)
Invoice districts
Create POs, invoices, requisitions payment for presenter
Collect and distribute needed paperwork (if virtual)

Other Duties as Assigned by Executive Director

Elementary Physical Education Teacher
