Spring Lake Park Schools is seeking a high-quality, innovative individual for the position of Talent Acquisition Generalist. This role will be critical in hiring the best possible talent through sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. Examples of duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with outside organizations to create and sustain talent pipelines
  • Collaborate with principals and department managers on the recruiting process
  • Supporting new employees through the onboarding process so that individuals feel valued, inspired and have a sense of belonging

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed teacher with the State of Minnesota with Art/Fine Arts license.
-Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES:
Consistent with the current Teachers’ Master Agreement.

POSITION:
Lead Administrative Assistant – Centennial Elementary – 8 hours per day – 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM
214 days per year (includes 9 paid holidays) – beginning August, 2022.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments and directs or escorts them to the appropriate person.
Receives and routes incoming communications.
Manages daily attendance reporting.
Prepares documents for the school such as: faculty handbook, parent/student handbook, school maps, school newsletters, and calendar of school events.
Provides administrative clerical support services.
Maintains an effective communications retrieval system.
Maintains and monitors the release of student records.
Performs such other tasks consistent with the position as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post high school training required with business and finance experience preferred.
Successful experience in an office setting required.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school dealings.
Proven success in keyboarding and computer software required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work as a positive contributing member of an office team.
Proven, successful experience working with minimal supervision accompanied by successful problem-solving skills.
Proven, successful experience relating well to school-aged youth as well as to adults.
Ability to multi-task in a high energy environment.

WAGES/BENEFITS:
As per the current Administrative Assistant/Clerical master agreement. Paid benefit package.
