Elementary Principal – (K-5) 2 positions – Cedar Ridge Elementary & Oak Point Elementary
The Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for Principal of Cedar Ridge Elementary and Principal of Oak Point Elementary. Cedar Ridge has a staff of 80 that serves approximately 499 children and Oak Point has a staff of 105 that serve approximately 585 children.

Occupational Therapist – Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)

Job Summary
Occupational Therapists provide a related service to support the special needs of qualified students with IEP’s, assigning, designing, and implementing appropriate therapies, preparing and maintaining appropriate records, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Job Functions
Provide direct and indirect Occupational Therapy (OT) to identified students in home or schools.
Train special and general education staff, parent and other team members on specific interventions.
Recommend and train staff, parents and/or students on equipment; observes student in various educational environments and provides recommendations; adapts and/or modifies materials.
Implement educational plans as describe on individual IEP/IIIP/IFSP and provide information for building staff as needed.
Maintain appropriate IEP records and reports. Collect data on progress on goals and objectives for each student and meet all required timelines.
Maintain accurate up to date records in the areas of program data collection and third party billing.
Communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and administrators regarding student programs and progress.
Adhere to all district policies and procedures.
Support the district’s mission, vision and values.
Work cooperatively with general education teachers and staff and provide building consultation, support and training as needed.
Create and maintain a professional working relationship with families and staff.
Conduct assessments, comprehensive report results, and follow Minnesota state criteria in area(s) of special education eligibility as well as mandated timelines.
Determine and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, and equipment based on student needs.
Participate in building and District level professional development activities.
Measure and document therapy outcomes and attendance.
Collaborate with district motor team to share best practices and new therapy initiatives.
Adhere to federal and state statute and rules related to individualized service and due process.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities in certification areas as directed by the Director of Special Services and/or the Building Principal.

A .68 FTE Physical Education Teaching position is currently available at the Columbus Elementary School to teach Physical Education for students in grades K-6 beginning the 2022-23 school year.
Administrative Assistant – Director of Student Services
Effective immediately, the Human Resources Department will accept online applications for the position of Administrative Assistant – Director of Student Services (Classification V) at the District Office. This is a 12-month, full-time position, and reports to the Director of Student Services.
Job Summary
Provide clerical support to the Director of Student Services, and manage records and data collection including Special Education MARSS, procurement and tuition billing.
Job Functions
Manage requests for conciliation, mediation or due process hearings as provided by law, rule and district protocol.
Compile and maintain special education and MARRS records of all resident and non-resident students with IEPs attending school in the district, and manage necessary records to maximize tuition finance. This includes generating tuition agreements, managing Intermediate 917 and elsewhere acknowledgements and maintaining due process files in an orderly fashion.
Compile and maintain SPED child count data.
Generate reports and other data using various computer systems including Infinite Campus, Google Docs, Sped Forms, Excel, and MARSS.
Oversee homebound instruction records including teacher timesheets.
Generate purchase orders as needed in accordance with MDE fiscal requirements.
Manage timesheets for Special Education Assistants including non-public health services.
Manage staffing charts, including appropriate budget coding by department
Maintain and update special education records using appropriate electronic form.
Prepare annual reports for district, state and federal monitors.
Provide support for hiring process, including scheduling and interview packets
Receptionist duties for visitors and incoming phone calls.
Provide direction to the Enrollment Center regarding scheduling students with disabilities, homeless care and treatment, and 504 conditions.
Work with the Enrollment Center to arrange for special ed paraprofessional bus support when needed.
Work with the Enrollment Center to assure that all students receiving transportation from the Student Services Department have appropriate documentation including emergency phone numbers, alternative drop off locations, and IEP or 504 forms indicating the need for the same.
Manage Director’s calendar as needed.
Manage student files.
Model the 1B Learner Profile for students, families and staff.
Other duties as assigned.
