Hours: 8 hours/day (hours/schedule will be flexible)
Banded/Graded: B-2-1 (Tier 5)
Salary: $21.03/hour
Responsible To: Athletic Director/Building Principal

Position Purpose: Provide supervision at building during after-school hours and at activities and events including weekends.  Assist in the Athletic Office during the day when not supervising evening events.  Schedule/hours will flex.

Position Purpose:  Chaska Middle School West is home to Eastern Carver County Schools Spanish Immersion program at the Middle Level.  The Paraprofessional in this roll will assist teachers with classroom instrution and help students continu to develop their academic skills and Spanish Language skills. The lunchroom supervisor supervises students during lunch and recess (if applicable).

-Must be a licensed ESL teacher with the State of Minnesota.

-Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.

-Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.

-Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

-Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
